I went to grammar school with Derrick Rose (although he was in 3rd when I was in 8th, and we never met).

He's kind of an asshole in public. He tries to play the shy role, but I doubt that he's sheepish at all. He doesn't speak to any fans when he sees them- unless they are white.

But it's good to see somebody from my elementary school make it. I hope that Chicago DOES NOT pick him for two reasons:

1) Because they need a big man (other than lame ass Drew Gooden) that can hoop. We got enough average sized guards.

2) This is not a good environment for hometown heroes. The same cats he knew from around the way might bait him into trouble.

I want Mike Beasley instead (who shares the same last name with our elementary school coincidentally)
