*Gucci Mane voice* “Well damn!” I was hoping that it was bright. Either way, Matt of Nooka is always a great person to listen and learn from. A week or so ago I visited the One Club for the ‘Evening With The Client’ event and was impressed by the Nooka presentation in addition to their responses to student questions.
Matt actually provided answers to questions that I still had of the brand. By the way, futurism plays a HUGE role in Nooka; and that I love. This is a company that has marketing #bakedin to the product. Nooka is the type of client that the One Club/One Show needs moving forward. Forget Long’s Horseradish. But don’t ever forget Berghs School of Communication.

I love my Nooka. This sounds like an amazing event. The presentation looks good. Nice post…
I was actually talking to my brother about Nooka the other night. It seems like their popularity is continuing to rise, and as that happens they are slowly becoming more mainstream. Do you think this hurts their brand? At what point do you think “everyone” will have a Nooka?
My brother says four years, I say two. What do you think?
Thoughts?

Love Nooka,
Gotta get my hands on one of em!
I think while Nooka will achieve mainstream success, the creative team will continue to innovate and keep early adopters engaged in the brand. The company’s ethos is authentic and I can not imagine them selling out to be the next Seiko—no disrespect to their legacy. With that said, in two years they will reach critical mass. What happens after that? Who really knows.
