I believe the power of the crowd is one of the most important things on and off line. Notice how I leave the words ‘social’ and ‘media’ out of the aforementioned statement. I believe most people have a sincere interest in helping others achieve their goals, whether helping a total stranger or a best friend it is in our DNA. At around 10pm last night I asked my Twitter followers and friends if they could help me get to 1,000 followers by 9am (12/14/09). At the time it worked out to 2 followers per hour. The goal was met by 1am. So in honor of this momentous occasion I feel it is only right to thank those special people that assisted in pushing me over the 1,000 followers threshold on Twitter.
