I was one of the C’mon LeBron faithful but I must admit this is undeniable. There is a paradigm shift going on and I’m proud to be one of the Millennials leading the way. Cheers to you LeBron (W+K and Nike Basketball too. You win). Just protect your neck when you come by the Garden. We’re runnin’ and gunnin’.

Jay-Z reveals “Decoded” book at Miami’s Delano Hotel (10/20/2010) from The305.com on Vimeo.
I must tip my hat to Jay-Z, Droga5, and Bing for making a book release come to life in such an engaging way. This Miami launch yesterday and overall campaign is a true example of media being used as a canvas. I believe all parties win in this situation. Let’s hope people actually go and hunt for the lyrics at different locations all over the world. I wonder if there is a “search” community that has formed on a blog, website, or message board. Anyone know?

I know. I know. I know. I post less consistently than Rajon Rondo’s jump shot. Nevertheless here is some Tinker Bell dust for your Monday evening commute back home.
What is a ZAG?
ZAG is a wholly owned subsidiary of BBH that is focused on brand invention (more explanation on our website zaginvention.com). We can only invent and launch brands if we have great ideas and for the first time, we would like to invite those that don’t work for BBH to pitch ideas for partnerships.
An Example of a Current ZAG Project
Call for Ideas
This document serves as an official call for ideas. Moving forward, ZAG will be formally evaluate ideas three times per year and November marks the evaluation that will determine our focus for at least the first half of 2011. We will of course entertain ideas at anytime throughout the year, but submitting during these three formal review periods ensures a focused, timely, and actionable review of your proposal.
Get Your Arms Ready
Pitches will be heard first week in November live or over the phone. After this initial round of pitches we may refresh this document based on the feedback from the candidates and the readers of BBH Labs Blog. To stay up to date on ZAG news and thought starters follow our Blog.
Thanks for reading. Feel free to BLOG / TWEET / SHARE this with your social graph.
Read this if you have your IDEA ready.

INFLUENCERS TRAILER from R+I creative on Vimeo.
The idea of an influencer has been debated in and out of the communications field. Duncan Watts and Malcolm Gladwell both put up strong arguments, however, I think it is best being defined by the folks at FREE DMC and their Influencer Conference.
INFLUENCERS is a short documentary that explores what it means to be an influencer and how trends/ideas become contagious today in music and fashion.
Directed by Paul Rojanathara and Davis Johnson, the film is a Polaroid snapshot of New York influential creatives (advertising, design, fashion and entertainment) who are shaping today’s pop culture.Follow INFLUENCERS on facebook.com/?influencersfilm

I expected a lot more from Converse and Anomaly. Please allow the fans to remix the video. Give us the video and allow us to score/add music to the visuals. Just a suggestion. The spot still goes harder than most footwear spots I’ve seen in 2010.

The mentor/friend/colleague, Lincoln Stephens sent me these two ads for The Marcus Graham Project and for the associated radio show, The Drum. I’m feeling everything about them. What if the cast of Mad Men was all black and the new character they introduced today was white? Forget the show being a period piece, let’s DISCUSS!

This film project looks to be amazing. I wonder if the homie @jabari will have his clips make it.
