Feb 13th is too far away, so I present to you the bootleg version of the latest Sprite commercial (featuring Drake). It seems the Coca-Cola Company would like you to believe that Sprite can give you that ‘spark’ to create, do, and make something happen. I think the masses will like the spot. I even dig the strategy that (probably) went into the brief. I wonder if a high quality version will leak before February 13th. In the meantime, enjoy Sprite’s decision to play the commercial before films at select movie theaters.

I can’t wait till New Years Eve in NYC! This is a video that makes your reflect on ‘how’ and ‘with who’ you celebrate the New Year. Too bad MGMT and Ratatat couldn’t make their cameos. I wonder how they would have been incorporated.
New music from Kid Cudi produced by Kanye West. If the music industry was Marvel vs Capcom what tag team would you play with? Kanye West and Kid Cudi or Lil Wayne and Drake. Think about it…
Say what you will (no pun intended) about Kanye West’s latest opus, 808 & Heartbreak but the album pushed the boundaries of what is considered pop music. In the spirit of inspiration and innovation, Trey Songz and Drake have committed their verses to the lead off track from 808 & Heartbreak. Listen and be inspired.
“…don’t listen to anybody that knew me, cus to have known me would mean that there’s a new me and if you think I’ve changed in the slightest could have fooled me…” – Drake
22 year old Canadian artist Aubrey “Drake” Graham is poised to release a new body of work entitled, “So Far Gone.” The project has been rumored to be a collection of material which tests the boundaries of popular music. The first taste of the mixtape is the cover art which can be seen above.
Drake asserts:
The tape is a conceptual journey of my life since January 2008 and its my way of telling the stories that people want to hear in a more entertaining fashion. This particular piece is done by Oliver’s boy Darkie and it’s an adaptation of a classic cover from the international affairs magazine “The Economist”.
Pushing the limits and testing the boundaries is what The Future is Bright (TFiB) promotes. “So Far Gone” is art that we look forward to listening to come its release in the next few weeks.
