CAN’T WAIT (ANY LONGER) CHAPTER 1 – RHLS Look Book

October 20th, 2010 § 0 comments § permalink

RHLS is a clothing line based out of Brooklyn NY. **** CANT WAIT (ANY LONGER) is a look book for RHLS.COM, a science fiction, soap opera, trapped in the closet, parallel dimension mini series! Stay tuned every month we will be dropping the next episode of the movie!

I met Mackswell (co-founder) last summer on a random night in Bedstuy around the time I had moved into my new place. He was cool, his hoody was stupid-dope-fresh, he put me on his email list. This video is what was sent in his last email.

I want this.

Here is a pic of what I want:

Bloggers Opening Up Retail Shops

I’ve been indicating to colleagues that bloggers will begin to have more of an offline presence in the near future. Of course, we all exist offline whether we like it or not. The existential argument does apply in this case. Check blogger, David Fischer’s new digs, SOTO BERLIN.

Karl Lagerfeld – Young By Choice

February 7th, 2009 § 0 comments § permalink

Recently I have been discussing Karl Lagerfeld and his influence on fashion at the young age of 75 with a few friends. He embraces youth culture to the fullest and is an inspiration to those he touches through his art.

Around 16:00 of the following Charlie Rose interview, Karl mentions how he had a dream, woke up, wrote down his vision of a fashion collection, and debuted the collection. This is similar to the concept of superconsciousness, infinte intelligence, the secret doctrine or the creative force; where you get information or in Karl’s instance, images that seem to come out of no where.

He also gives his opinion on marketing v. fashion designing around 15:45. The entire video is very entertaining and educational. Let me know what you think.
